An Inch Or A Mile

It's fucken done & turned in. My first film is in the can and now in the hands of the kind folk over at the Fresno Art Museum for their 1st Annual Latino Film Festival. For those of you who don't know, we've been working on this short for the past 2 weeks, pretty much non-stop. Now, I'm sure you've heard this term "non-stop" many times before. Probably even used it yourself a couple of times. But this production truly was the definition of that cliche. Thanks for everyone who helped out and gave up free time to get this off the ground. "So where can I see it?" you might ask. Well, I can show it to you in person but I rather not place it on the web for now. If it does get accepted into the festival (Oct 19-21, 2007), you can see it there and I'll probably post it up soon ofter that here. Thanks again to everyone who helped out and keep checking here and the museum's site for more info. Spread the word, people!

f'kin RAD, you will be the 1337357(leetest) of them all. You should, imho, splatter, spray, and splooge your digital "baby" all over the interwebs in order to build as much hype/support as you can. It will blaze across the net resulting in a creative steamroller that will... steam..roll... over the competition and undoubtedly end in you winning the Palme d' ore(sp). As a disciple of the 5 elements you should be no stranger to the braggadocio necessary for this scheme to work. One must proclaim his/her own goodness to reap rewards and pluck victory from the maw of the apathetic masses. And, sheyit if'n the web don't make it easier to do. Alas, this comment has become quite loquacious. Therefore, may I just say, you have already won.....

....fuck where's my GAMER FUEL?!....

After seeing the final cut, I have to say that is some fine camera work, sir. Great use of the Rhinestone Cowboy, I can't imagine the film without it. This will decimate all at the film festival. It has to, unless theyre the "mostly intrigued by the drum" type. BTW, you know you can post that shit as a myspace video and set the privacy on it to viewable by friends only? Do it DOUG!!
