Oh, man....I've been waiting for this one. Glad they decided to make the first trailer a red band. Can't....wait....for...Halloween! Stop reading and watch the "Porno" already! Oh and don't forget, red band means NSFW so be warned!

Can't vouch for the films themselves, but red band is always a good way to see how the film is going to be.....yeah, not too sure about these end of summer gems. But the Van Damme talking poster was good. So if you had to choose one to see, which one would it be, based strictly from these 2 trailers? Lionheart!

Yup, you wanna see 50 Cent get verbally abused by Robert DeNiro? Then this lil gem if for you. I'm really surprised they haven't been playing up Fiddy's role in the previous trailers for the film. Could this be the DeNiro/Pacino team up film we've all been waiting for? Perhaps....this red band trailer really helps it's cause. And if your really interested in the film, check out this little art exhibition based on the works of it's stars done on behalf of the films upcoming release and involving some cool street artists. Pretty cool marketing.

I haven't looked forward to a Will Ferrell film in a....actually, not ever. I have been pleasantly surprised, though (Anchorman). Can this reverse my stigma that Ferrell isn't that funny (don't get me wrong, he has his moments of glory). Perhaps but this stuff looks pretty good. Him and John C. Reilly can really play off of each other in these roles. After The Dark Knight, we need some humor injected into our cinemas. Now we wait and see who is going to win Comedy Of The Summer: Step Brothers or Pineapple Express. Which one are you looking more towards?

People who have seen this film have been waiting and waiting for this trailer to be released as they say that the current ones do not do the film justice. Well here it is. If this doesn't sell you on the film then maybe it just isn't for you. For me, the premise & setting itself has already got me hyped. Check it out over at IGN here for Quicktime and see if it gets your jollies going.

And it's a red band at that! The Coen Brothers follow up No Country For Old Men with this little film starring George Clooney, Tilda Swinton, John Malkovich & Brad Pitt. Enough babbling, go here to check it out!

Coming over from Filmz.ru (via slashfilm.com) is this beautiful trailer. Why can't we get stuff like this over here? Anyways, beware as there are bloody head shots, a sex scene and some outright crazy gun violence jam packed into this little extended trailer. Are you cool with that? I knew you would be. Go over here to check it out. (and those keys and tooth flying through the air up there spell out "Fuck You" in Russian)

Not a part of me wants to see this film (the negative reviews don't help). I will see it, but it'll probably be until it is released on DVD. But if your of the camp that hails Shyamalan as genius, well, go check out the new red band trailer here at IGN. There were some cool images in the trailer that stood out, after all there's nothing like seeing a man get meat waffled by a lawnmower, ejected from a speeding car & an arm getting bitten off by an angry animal (all these things are in the trailer so beware). Too bad there a whole lot more to making a great film.

Red band trailers have been around for a while but they seems to have been even more prevalent recently with the advancement of the internet age. But to me, they never really seem to work. I mean, I've never seen a red band trailer change my mind about a film after seeing it. And the same goes for the latest one I saw for the upcoming Keanu Reeves film Street Kings.of which they've released 2 this very week, both of which you can see here exclusively at IGN.com. Filled with bullets and blood, the trailers show a lot of the film but what the failed to show me was a reason to go see this film. But it did bring up a good question: Are these red band trailers very effective? I mean, I see more harm than good in which the people who are going to go out and seek these trailers (because you'll never see these trailers on Yahoo! or Apple.com) are more than likely already going to go see the film. Last year, there was a red band trailer out months before the release of Superbad. Is that what made the movie such a success? Perhaps, but that film already had a built in audience, as opposed to this film, of which I've only heard of last month or so when the first trailer was released. Please, by all means, chime in. Have you ever been more or less influenced by a red band trailer?
