Another trailer from Frank Miller's upcoming film has dropped in to save us from the crap that was the leaked video out of San Diego Comic Con earlier this year. Did it do it's job and clear up that entire mess or just make it worse? Sam jackson has described this film as a real life "Looney Toons" movie. Interesting....Head on over to Moviefone here, check it out and let us know: does this mark the beginning of a long movie career for Miller or the implosion of an artist with too much vision.

Comic Con '08: The Spirit fight scene footage leaks; looks horrible
Yup, who knows how long this will be up but the studio taking this down might actually be a good thing. Man, I honestly never thought that The Spirit was going to make that big of an impact in general but every time we get a trailer or leaked footage (coming via Slash Film) my hopes sink even further. Now I hate to judge before the film comes out but this looks pretty bad. I'm wondering what kind of trump card Frank Miller can pull in order to save this little film. What do you guys think?

New "The Spirit" trailer leaked, then yanked.
The latest trailer for the upcoming film "The Spirit" found it's way onto just about every movie site and blog on the web today only to be removed soon after by the powers that be. The people have spoken and so far, it seems like most of them are saying "DO NOT WANT", especially the Spirit/Eisner fanboys. Either way, we have it here so check it out for yourself and let us know what you thought of it.
UPDATE: The official, HD Quicktime version of the trailer has just been posted over at Yahoo! here.

The Spirit's nemesis; First pics of The Octopus appear

Well if Samuel L. Jackson isn't the busiest dude in the business, I don't know who is. Seriously. If he's not starring in a movie as a cop terrorizing his neighbors, or Nick Fury-ing up some Iron Man credits, he's popping up in yet another movie I'm itching to spend my dollar bills on. Exclusive pics of Sam Jack as Octopus, The Spirit's nemesis in the Eisner/Miller comic/movie, drops via Comic Con Magazine. The Spirit was also given a new release date a few weeks ago bieng moved up from early 2009 to Christmas Day 08'. -partymarty

Miller shows his Spirit (and Sins!)
E-Dub got some information out of the man himself about The Spirit and Sin City 2. Interesting tidbits are that he's writing Sin City 2 with his eye on completing a trilogy. Rumors of Johnny Depp's involvement have been officially quashed, while Angelina Jolie remains an open door as someone Miller would "love to work with."
As far as The Spirit goes, Miller says it'll be a clash of old and new, with 50's Caddys and cellys. There is also a little nugget about his next comic, something already 122 pages deep and a "love letter to New York." Check out the full interview here!

Sin City 2 The Spirit teaser screams online
Frank Miller, the guy who just 10 years ago swore off Hollywood, is making his solo directorial debut with this upcoming film. So is this Sin City, 300 style of film making going to become the next new genre? Hmm, how knows how long it'll last before it becomes the next Smell-O-Vision but it still looks cool to me. Who knows, check out the HD trailer here, streaming version below. And let us know what your think.

First pics from Frank Miller's The Spirit!

Well, our friends over at IGN.com posted the first pics from Frank Miller's solo directorial debut The Spirit and they feature my future ex-wife Scarlett Johansson & bad MF'er Sam Jackson. Yup, very uninteresting photos, I know. But we nerds love this stuff and new shit is new shit! Supposedly a trailer shouldn't be to far off into the future so as soon as we hear something, we'll post it here so keep an eye open!
